Culinary Tour Steyr

Join us on this culinary city tour through the city of Steyr, guided in English and get to know not only the city’s historical but also culinary highlights.
Families are welcome!

Steyr is known as a trading town, which has had an impact on the town and its inhabitants both architecturally and intellectually as well as in terms of epicurean delights. Nobility, burghers, day labourers, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque - a foray through the pleasures of Steyr in many different ways awaits you at this special city tour. During the tour 2 stops to taste regional dishes are planned. 


Programme:
-At 11:00 am we start at Steyr Town Hall. 
-Our First culinary stop will be restaurant Mader where we eat Upper Austrian Tapas and Mostsekt which is a regional specialty. 
-Afterwards we continue the tour to Steyr castle to learn about its history. 
-For lunch we will be served “Altösterreichisches Huhn” (which is an old recipe for Austrian grilled chicken) at restaurant Minichmayr.
-Finally, we will visit Steyrdorf which is one of the eldest parts of town where craftsmen and workers were settled. 



Costs:
Adult: 15 EUR
Kids age 7-12: 12 EUR
Kids age 3-6: 7 EUR
Kids 0-3: free

Since seats are limited we kindly ask you to register all family members (including children) separately. 

Cancelation conditions: 
Registered persons can cancel their registration until 24.6.2022 at the latest via email to info@welcome2upperaustria.com 
If registered persons fail to cancel until the above mentioned deadline we are obliged to charge the full price.
