Research Scientist (m/f/d) with focus on Terahertz Technology

Your tasks:
- Independent coordination and execution of experimental trials
- Data analysis and model building based on spectroscopic data and images
- Development and evaluation of novel measurement and analysis concepts
- Development of applications based on the setups, independent execution of measurements and data analysis
- Liaison between scientific partners and company partners
- Summary of results in reports
- Publication of results in prestigious scientific journals and presentation at international conferences.

Your profile:
- Education: excellent master's degree in a technical field (ideally physics)
- Personality: innovative, inquisitive, and practical
- Working style: precise, structured and result-oriented
- Experience and skills: strong analytical skills, knowledge of optics, metrology, experience in data analysis and programming skills (Matlab, C++, Python etc.), sensor design combined with practical experience with lab setups is an advantage, prior knowledge of terahertz technology is an advantage, experience with machine learning is desirable
- Languages: fluent German and English (spoken and written)
